Honkai: Star Rail 8BitDo Ultimate 2 Controller Unveiled, Preorders Open Today
By Steven Petite

8BitDo has revealed an officially licensed controller themed around the popular free-to-play RPG Honkai: Star Rail. Just like the recently released Wuchang: Fallen Feathers collaboration, the Honkai: Star Rail model is an Ultimate 2 Wireless Controller for PC, Apple devices, and Android. The design revolves around Evernight, the mysterious upcoming playable character that's set to join Honkai: Star Rail soon.

The Honkai: Star Rail: Evernight 8BitDo Ultimate 2 is available to preorder starting today for $70, which is 10 bucks more than the price of the regular editions (and five bucks more than the Wuchang model). The controller is slated to release this fall; Amazon currently lists the launch date as October 16.

8BitDo is also releasing a Collector's Bundle that comes with four stick caps, a themed, hardshell carrying case, temporary tattoo stickers, and a glittery coaster featuring Evernight.

Other 8BitDo Controller Collaborations

8BitDo has collaborated with multiple publishers in recent months to create stylish special-edition controllers. Along with the new Honkai: Star Rail and Wuchang Ultimate 2 Controllers, 8BitDo recently partnered with Microsoft to celebrate Rare's 40th anniversary. The 8BitDo 3-Mode: Rare 40th Anniversary Edition is the manufacturer's first wireless Xbox controller. Last year, 8BitDo launched a pair of budget-friendly Black Myth: Wukong Ultimate 2C Controllers. There's also a Genshin Impact-themed version of 8BitDo's original Ultimate Controller for PC and mobile.

Hoyoverse Honkai: Star Rail Firefly Controllers

Honkai: Star Rail fans have another high-end controller option for PC. The Hoyoverse Firefly Elite Controller has a bunch of pro-style features, too. Unfortunately, the controller on its own isn't available, but there is a bundle with a charging dock and carrying case for $186. Yes, that's very expensive.

Honkai: Star Rail fans can also get a pair of Moondrop noise-canceling wireless earbuds modeled after the earbuds Robin wears in the game. These are quite popular on Amazon and are on sale for $100 (was $120).
